1) 16 'aluminum boat
The oasis is now equipped with 16-foot aluminum boats, stable, comfortable and safe.

2) 20 HP engine, 4 strokes
At the request of our customers, we have replaced almost all Mercury 2-stroke engines for Yamaha 4 strokes engines.

3) Expansion and modification of cabins
Since 2009, many cottages have expanded, almost doubling its size, with 2 closed bedrooms. They are a little more distant than others but quiet is assured. There's even a cabin with shower and toilet in each bedroom.

4) Location of the hostel (European plan)
In recent years, we rent the oasis inn as a cottage. Several groups have tried and loved the experience with its 5 bedrooms, commercial kitchen, 3 showers, large lounge and dining, television, Internet and more.

5) Shower and hot water
All cabins are equipped with showers and hot water.

6) Walleyes Management Plan for 2012 and 2013 on the Gouin Reservoir.
On the Gouin Reservoir walleye less than 32 cm. (12.5 in) will now be returned to the water. All walleyes above this size may be retained, but for the protection of the species we recommend to release all walleyes above 47 cm. (18.5 in.).

7) There is a new road for people passing through the town of La Tuque.
Since the summer of 2011 a new road connecting the town of La Tuque to Parent is open. Everyone who arrives by La Tuque can take Route 25 instead of Route 10. By taking this route you will save 90 km.
